Hey Texas Holdem Blog Poker Fans!!!

Guess who the big winner last night at our first Portland Street Poker night?

Thats right Luke Pettigrew AKA LMONEY AKA Riverboat Slick left the table with the most money handing Ben, Dean, Julian, Adam, Randy, and John a humbling lesson in Poker brilliance.

OK so really winning poker wasnt that hard since out of the 7 of us I was the only player who didnt seem like he hated money. Special honors go out to Julian John and Dean for some truly irresponsible betting.
Randy was the most careless with his betting (which makes sense since Manhattan is a pretty cheap place too live) but he somehow managed to come in second. Ben and Adam pretty much broke even leaving the aforementioned 3 taking it in the collective ass.

Special thanks also to my roommate Steph for cheering me on (in no small part due to her desire for me to pay rent next month)

The award for drunkest poker player by last hand goes to both Ben, who bluff-raised aggressively into adams clear full-house, and adam, who folded with said full-house despite having a technically unbeatable hand given the flop.
Way to go guys!!!

After poker we went to Gypsy Co-op to meet up with Mark, Knox, Bell and Sloan.
Sloan distinguished himself once again by touching my roommate's chest.

My end of the night Jumbo Chicken Schwarma was un-satisfactory especially considering my recent poker windfall which put me in the unexpected position of eating whatever I wanted to after the bar.
