Hey BlogFans,
For those of you who have been like "WHY THE HELL HASN"T LUKE BEEN POSTING STUFF???"
Or for those of you like Ben and Erica who swear all the time and have been like "WHY THE FUCK HASN'T LUKE BEEN POSTING SHIT????"
I have been sick.
I started getting sick on Tuesday night but I thought maybe I was just really regular.
By Wednesday I was full on sick complete with fever and disgusting side symptoms which was perfect because I had to go and work in the rain in Barrie for 6 hours. I know I shouldn't be complaining about working but what the hell it was freezing.
By Thursday I was really sick which really suckedass because I had my free-booze launch party for the cooking show I was on. I went anyway and it was fun although you would think that the launch party for a cooking show would have more food. There wernt a lot of celebraties there unless you count the guy from the future shop ads (who tried to hit on Erica while I was in the washroom). I went to the midtown afterwards which is turning into a uoftlaw hangout on Thursday. This particular Thursday featured a number of the law guys wearing suits because they were just coming from the first meeting of the u of t law "GQ Club". This is basically a club where the privlidged members gather and learn about GQish things like cigars and suits and scotch and stuff. I am reluctantly withholding comment.
As I accurately predicted in an earlier post I didn't win the Super 7 lottery jackpot on Friday so I just stayed inside after going to see Lost in Translation featuring Bill Murray in the afternoon. I recommend lost in translation by the way.
On Saturday I cemented my recovery from illness by going to play touch football for 2 hours in high park. Being sick I would say that I "didn't kick as much ass as usual" but I will definitely rectify this situation if we play after thanksgiving. I am still sick as I write this by the way.
Yesterday I worked again at the Run for the Cure and then went grocery shopping with Ben and steph. I swear that Steph and I had already filled our carts and were ready to leave when Ben walked up to us carrying exactly two items.... which he was yet to decide if he wanted to purchase.
I was so sick I couldn't even stand up and I had to spend an extra 30min at the supermarket watching Ben do stuff like read the ingredient list on the flour package. HEY JAGOFF FLOUR IS THE INGREDIENT!
Then we had to go to the Canadian Tire so that Ben and Steph could look for a more economical muffin tray than those offered at the Loblaws. I was looking at the Canadian Tire flyer and it is full of stuff like "13" TV/VCR unit on sale now for $209.99!" and I was like "WOW that is a good price" assuming that the regular price is like $350 or something but then I looked at the regular price and it is $219.99. Canadian Tire is advertising a savings of $10 on a combination TV/VCR unit. This is actually less than 5% savings which would be like the 7-11 advertising 4 cents off a can of coke. They are lucky I hate WallMart so much (if you dont hate wallmart yet, or are still considering having children, I recomend that you go there on saturday afternoon)
tune in tomorrow to find out what happened to my roommate because it is freaking big!!!!!
