OK so I am now at my parents place so GOOD TIMES all round. My latest stratagy is too constantly ask them questions about thier life denying them the oppertunity to ask about how things are going with Ben and I specifically why neither one of us is employed and what stratagies we might have for changing this. typical conversation with parents using aggressive question avoidance stratagy:

me: hey mom and dad HOW WAS THE PARTY ON SATURDAY?????
them: ok do you///me: HOW IS THE CAT?
them: doing pretty well are you////me: SO THE BACK LAWN LOOKS GREAT!!! DO YOU THINK THAT IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE RAIN THIS SPRING?

and it goes on like this.

I technically love my parents and they are good people but my limit for visiting home is about 32-36 hours. After that I am about 50/50 for putting my head in the oven.
