Good Afternoon Blog-lovers,

Today hasn't been my most productive day, but since I did accomplish two little things and I dont think that I did anything to directly sabotage future-luke, we will call it a winner.

My day got off to a little bit of a slow start because I was hung over from post-baseball partying at scallywags which suprisingly rolled into post-scallywags partying by myself on our patio. WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE COME AND TAKE AWAY THE 80 ODD LITERS OF BOOZE THAT WAS LEFTOVER FROM SATURDAY it is really killing me.
On a positive note I was 5 for 6 in baseball last night including 2 home runs and two more shots that should have been home runs but were ruled ground rule doubles. Also I only had one error in the outfield so that is allright. (I dont count me firing a ball 6 feet over the cutoff man's head as an error).

Other Highlights:
- there is always at least one guy who is too competitive for recreational sports and even though they try to hide it in the back of their minds they are thinking about how they disapointed thier father in pee-wee soccer or somthing and next thing you know they are arguing line calls in the Toronto PR CO-ED Softball League. Last night the other team was really cool except for this one guy who would do things like run in front of the girls on his team to make plays or let my home run balls carry into the bush to intentional limit me to a ground rule double (asshole). Anyway this guy was hit in the back super-hard with a line drive and it made this satisfying "WHAP" noise that seemed to echo a little in his rib-cage. I know I shouldn't take pleasure in this kind of thing but whichever it was all my whole team could do to avoid high-fiving eachother.

- Our girls kick ass this year and one of the kick-ass girls wasn't even there. This is honestly the secret to these work leagues. Every office has a couple jerks like me who used to play in high-school or somthing but if your girls are solid than you are going to roll all over teams.

Tonight I think I am going to take it easy and possibly work out for the first time in 2 weeks. I was hitting the ball pretty well yesterday but I am still feeling a little scrawny plus ben is on some kind of super-program so we will have to keep that in check.

Also Erica's sister is in from B.C. for a week so I will try to see them at some point. I am pretty confident that her sister will like me but I am also pretty confident she will end up saying somthing like "he seems nice although I have also heard good things about boys with jobs who don't constantly smell like vodka"
What are older sisters for
