hey blogfans

I havent posted in a few days but I have been busy as crap (drinks dont just pour themselves) so lets update what has been going on...

FRIDAY!... I woke up Friday and went straight to IKEA (actually staight to ikea via blockbuster to get 10 more lost episodes) . I freaking hate Ikea but I also hate not having a giant pillow to prop my back against when I am watching movies in bed so I chose the lesser of two evils (i also wanted new sheets).
Unfortunatly Ikea didnt have any gaint pillows but they did have sheets so I bought the most expensive ones I could find carefully avoiding researching what thread count means or any competitive shopping. Because my sheets came with two matching pillow cases I also bought two new pillows forcing me to think about how long it has been since I purchased new pillows
(never actually) and be retroactivly disgusted.
I was feeling pretty adult like on the subway home with my new pillows/sheets and even think I saw a pretty girl give me an apreciative glance like "oooh there is a 30 year old who no longer expects his mother to supply bedding for him"
As it turns out I actually mistakingly had bought a new duvet cover and two pillow cases rather than sheets (this double sucks because I chose the crappy light brownish colour of the "sheets" beacause it was the only one that even vaguely matched my exsisting duvet cover- which i instantly covered with the new one)
Friday night I worked in the Pub it wasn't that lucrative.

SATURDAY!!... Happy Birthday ADAM!!!! also supposedly happy going away SARAH but she was too hungover from her last shift on Friday to show. I mostly cleaned during the day but I also jumped out to buy new sheets to match my new duvet cover and pillows. Sheets are freaking expensive! also the sheets (half price at pottery barn awesome) came with two pillow cases so I had to buy another two new pillows. My bed now looks like it belongs to a 40 year old married couple.
Thank you to everyone who attended the party for Adam especially those people who brought thier own booze. I played things pretty low-key myself consuming a casual 14 cans of beer and one shot of sambuca.

SUNDAY!... im not going to lie I was pretty hung over. I stayed in bed watching consecutive lost espisodes untill working at 5. sunday was super lucrative for some reason.

MONDAY!... ooops I almost slept through my work shift (5pm start) I may have been behind on sleep from the weekend. Monday was also lucrative as well which is good because my bedding/dial-a-bottle expenses from the weekend were pretty substantial. I went to clintons after work for a quick picture of beer for last call.

TUESDAY!... Thats Today. I have been preparing trivia questions for a private trivia function at the Duke and am about to go for lunch at the pour house.
