Hey Blog Fans,

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL,

Of course I am not going to school but I was at the Law School at 8am this morning to look at all of the dorky first year kids.

I havent been writing that much lately but I have been freaking busy so what can I do.
highlights of the last week include.

Tuesday: Ben and adam: went to thier first day of work where they both distinguished themselves in true grimsby fashion by falling asleep.

Luke: went to the Molson Corona Beach Volleyball Tournament/ get drunk off your ass festival.
This event really sucked unless you like playing vollyball or drinking tons of almost free beer (or looking at girls in bikinis if you dont have a girlfriend). When I first got there I was a little uncomfortable because it was basically just a huge patio and because Bird and Huether werent there yet I didnt really know anyone + my usual confidence was a bit shaken by the fact that everyone was good looking. Once the guys got there and gave me my ticket (which was instantly redeemable for 15 dollars cash which I in turn instantly redeemed for 15 dollars worth of cheap beer and sausages) and we started playing vollyball it was a really fun day. I was the best player on our team which would have made me the 2nd worse player on the team that eventually killed us in the finals. On a positive note, since I havent played in two years I cant really claim that the 15 odd coronas I drank before the finals (4 less than Huether) really hurt my performance. Thanks to Bill Bird and Brett Huether and the rest of the Whitby Caseys and Wing Shack crew for the entertaining day.

Wednesday: Ben and Adam: went to thier second day of work (ben was apparently late)

Luke: went to audition for a cooking show with Huether.
I agreed to accompany brett to this audition during the vollyball tourney but I say a lot of things when I am drunk so I was a little suprised when I found myself actually at the audition. Basically it was brett and I and also a bunch of real people who know how to cook so we were kind of nervous and mostly just cracked stupid jokes. The highlight was when brett listed his best dish as "NUT BUTTER SANDWICHES" and I couldnt stop giggling every time he said "NUT BUTTER". I listed my best dish as perogies at which point the head chef lady asked me if i made my own dough and I had to explain that I meant frozen perogies which I then boil with water.

Thursday: Ben and Adam: go to thier third day of work

Luke: invited to appear on cooking show. Seriously. Apparently I will be cooking with a partner (probably huether) as one of three pairs of cookers who will be instructed in making a three course meal by master chefs. This show will air on the food network in both canada and the states PRIME TIME.

potential problems with apearing on a prime time cooking show:

1. of course I cant cook very good. I am assuming they allready understand this.
2. I am probably going to embarress myself somehow. I dont know how yet but lets be reasonable.
3. wait yes I do know how they are going to be serving us drinks during taping. they have a cocktail protion of the show. The show will have an airtime of about 22min but will take 12 hours to tape which is about 11.5 hours more than brett and I need to get drunk if someone is going to keep handing us daquiries or somthing.
4. They may think that brett and I are dating. One of the producers interviewing us asked us a question about wether we were here "together" and we said no but then instantly started making jokes (non-homophopic jokes) pretending we were dating. I am not sure the straight message really got through esp since Heuther was wearing a sleevless shirt.

Friday: I played basketball and then went to cobalt.

Saturday: I went to wardrobe for this show coming up and all of my clothes were innapropriate for TV of somthing so I have to go back in on thursday with different clothes (like I have a bunch of really nice brightly colour clothes that I didnt bring to the first wardrobe session). Saturday night I went to Habitat with Erica, Ben, Will, KATHERINE CORNETT, JULIA CORNETTE, thier friend Cristy and another friend whos name I forget. This was super fun.

Sunday and Monday: I mostly just hung around with erica since this is the last weekend before law school starts for her. We did a lot of walking and food purchasing. Erica now likes freezies so that is good for me.

OK so that was my exciting week.
