today I read the pearl by john stienbeck. I cant help but think that even though the pearl was written a long time ago that I could learn somthing from the pearl and specifically regarding my lottery winning asperations.

Lesson 1 is if I win the lottery then dont trust anyone and tell as few people as possible, that is how the guy in the pearl got screwed.
Also watch out for your girlfriend because she might try to throw the lottery ticket into the ocean.

there are no other lessons that can be gathered from the pearl about sudden fortune as I plan to achieve through lottery investments and its possible effects on my life.
