Happy Monday Blog-Fans,

I hope all of your weekends went well. My weekend was simutaniously fun and relaxing so that was nice. As you know I went to Grimsby for the weekend with Erica. To start with the car ride home with Lyndsay and shiney went well and wasn't really awkward at all so that was nice except that Lyndsay was talking the whole time about all of the touristy things they were going to accomplish in the weekend so I kind of felt like a bad host allready and we werent even in Grimsby yet.

My parents were away for the weekend so that was a nice touch. True to form out house was also a cool 35 degrees inside as my parents insist that we dont need air conditioning because we have a pool. This would make a lot of sense if I could sleep in the pool. We actually used the pool a lot which would be cooler if my parents hadn't told every young family in grimsby that they could come over swimming whenever they wanted. Besides my life-goal of avoiding seeing anyone over 35 in a bathing suit some of these kids were obviously using out pool as a giant toilet including one mother who took off her daughters diaper when she went swimming and then put it back on when she got out. She should have been adding diapers when this kid was in our pool! it is freaking gross.

Does anyone ever look at there boyfriends old family pictures and not say that he was a cute/baby/infant/kid. I was a fat infant with a giant head and a constant vacant gaze. I was looking through my old baby book/journal and at 6 weeks my mother put in an entry stating "luke seems to be more inquisitive now" this is clearly code for "we no longer think luke is retarded"

Also my mother has been slowly turning my room into a guest style room so every time I come home one more of my track and field plaques is off the wall and replaced with a picture of a vase of flowers or somthing like that. whats up with dat...

On saturday we went to niagara falls so that was fun. I am a bad tour guide but nowhere near as bad as lyndsay who didn't know that NIAGARA FALLS were part of NIAGARA river and that this river flowed between lake eirie and lake ontario. (admittlingly I had to think about this one). I of course had to sound like I was an expert on Niagara falls so I spent at least part of the afternoon mumbling to erica about Tesla and alternating current. I think the high point of her tour might have been when I suggested that only 15-25 percent of people who go over the falls in a barrel die and that it is the currents at the bottem that are the most lethal to potential barrel travelers (because I freaking know). I was also in the midst of explaining how the falls is responsible for supplying power to the entire golden horshoe (which I thought I had read somewhere) when I remembered that there is a huge nuclear power plant in pickering which might also contribute.

For saturday dinner I made "windsor style" perogies (fried in butter with melter cheese on top served with a generous portion of sour cream) which were predictaly delicous. It is only a matter of time now before i am eating perogies everyday and weigh 275 pounds. I do think I prepare the best perogies ever so mabye I should open a resteraunt and call it 1.2 after the number of pounds of ass-fat you will gain every-time you eat there.

On sunday we went hiking on the niagara escarpment and had a picknik (of course). Our picknik lunch consisted of delicous apple-tree subs and a klondike bar and delicous mega-freezee for desert. ("what would I do for a Klondike bar?" apparently pay beckers $2.27 every day for the last two weeks)

On sunday night we drove back with Lyndsay and Shiney which was ok and Shiney seemed a little more comfortable around us which is understandable because Erica is really friendly and I am really not that intimidating once you get past my movie-star good looks.
