good morning early blog-enthusiasts,

I am freaking tired wich should be redundant for me to mention since it is 9:30 am right now.
Last night I went to the DLS BBQ which was fun and also there was really good food there.
Niether Dean or Myself really managed to embarress our DLS girlfriends although we were the only people smoking.
Overall I would describe the bbq crowd as "accomplished" and "smart" so I was a little more shy than usual.

The highlight of my night was accidently eating part of a "veggie-burger". Vegetarians insist that they taste "exactly like regular hamburgers" and I guess since the average vegetarian hasn't eaten an actual hamburger in years and probably didn't like them that much in the first place they can be excused for this massive miss-statment.
I would instead suggest that vegetarian burgers are "comparable to regular burgers except for the disgusting taste and consistancy" honestly they should have these things on fear factor.

host: "you have 5 minuites to eat 2 veggie burgers for the $25,000"
contestant: "I heard they taste just like regular hamburgers"
host: "ha ha ha ha well then you might as well go ahead and take a big bite HA HA HA"

anyway I am being rude because someone obviously supplied the veggie burgers and I realize that some people like them.

also thanks to Tom and Lisa for hosting us- I hope we didn't stay too late + i really like your house.

also at one point usman (there is no chance I spelled that correctly) and dean were debating university policy so you can imagine how exciting that was.

Dean: "this is the point of the argument where I try to establish an inapropriate "straw house" style analogy for future use"

Usman: " your rediculis analogy is almost making my deeply contriversial arguments seem tenable by comparison. perhaps I was under-ambitous in my initial demands that the university merly demolish part of thier charter"

or somthing like that.

also Ben Arkin complimented Erica on her nice pashmena (its like a huge scarf) but there were no other dudes around so it was pointless to make fun of him for saying pashmena. (ben thanks for the ride)
