HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUKE AND BEN!

Man is this ever exciting! I have been dying to turn 28 for a long time. Some people would say turning 28 sucks all kinds of ass and that your are another year closer to 30 (ass-sucking king of all birthdays) but I say BRING IT ON! BEING 28 IS GOING TO ROCK LIKE HELL.

So far special birthday thanks go out to...

1. Luke Grandmother who sent a lovely card.
2. Luke's Parents who dropped off a delicous Ben and Luke monogrammed cake and also a fresh assortment of birthday clothes reflecting how they would like thier sons to dress. As I was thanking my mom for the clothes I had already returned to SEARS yesterday she was saying stuff like "well I thought they would be good as more of a formal short '- (they are of course pleated) - "and they will be great for wearing all day because they are wrinkle and stain proof". I could outfit a whole matrix convention of nerdes with clothes my parents have given Ben and I (with good intentions) in the last 5 years.
3. Erika T____ (pronounced TAEVES of course) for entertaining me last night to stave (rhymes with Toew) off my pre-birthday depression. perhaps could have held off on saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU ARE 28 NOW!!!" right at the stroke of midnight but is super-sweet anyway. Also helpfully said things like "I think 28 will be a great year for you. I am actually really looking forward to turning 28...... of course I will have to wait for the better part of a decade"
4. Scott and Kelsey at the Bedford. Scotty for being very pettigrew-like in life philosophies and Kelsey for doing a round of free shots with us and saying things like "I think 28 will be a really good year for you... somehow"

I will have more birthday thanks later but the day is kind of young still.
