ok well it went really well in the date itself but for part of the date we decided to get some sandwiches ect from whole foods and then go to high park for a picknick which is fine except we didnt have a blanket. My original plan was to drop by my sisters in bloor west village and get the blanket because my sister and her husband are great and are also the kind of people you could imagine have a special blanket that is designed for single day trip pickniks that they would have purchased at mountain equipment co-op (likely called "ANTKILLER 5000 Z"). Also it would be nice for them to meet my date or more specifically for me to show off how cute my date is (your shallow too). Unfortunatly my sister wasn't home so we had to drop in on my friends place to try to get a blanket. I was hesitant about this because Mark, Knoz and Bill are good guys and stuff but are unlikely to have even the base model ANTKILLER and would more likely give me somthing Mark used to cover himself when his roomates come home unexpectingly when he is watch E channel wild on. We will call this a secondary concern compared to the fact that I knew that they would be making fun of me for going on a pick-nick. I dont know why it is more gay to go sit on a blanket with a cute girl than to watch tv with 2 other dudes in boxer shorts but it clearly is somehow and I cant wait to see those guys again so that they can make fun of me. when mark finally clued in that the blanket he was giving me (it was actually a pretty nice blanket) was for a picknik he made fun on me a little but of course this was tempored by my date being there. I dont think offerring them leftover vegan chocolat mousse pudding when we were returning the blanket will make me less of a target next time were out either.
